This ride is considered a longer ride because it is about 5.5 hours in duration not including stops along the way and is approximately 227 miles (365 km) in length. It's a pleasant cruise through quirky little burgs with light traffic and a ride through Florida's horse country.

From your starting point at the intersection of Edgewood Ave N and W Beaver St:

·         Head west on W Beaver St / US90 out of the city

·         At the town of Baldwin turn left onto US301 heading south

·         Cruise south in light traffic to Starke, then on through to Waldo and a string of quiet, sleepy small towns and staying southbound on US301

·         At 7220 NE Highway 301 in Orange Heights you pass Orange Cycle Parts, a shop that carries parts for all major brands of motorcycles

·         In Hawthorne at 5615 SE Highway 301 is a Love’s Travel Stop open 24/7 with gas, a store and a McDonalds restaurant

·         South of Citra US301 joins US441 heading south through horse country to Ocala

·         At 5331 N US Highway 441 you pass War Horse Harley-Davidson open 9am to 6pm

·         At 3920 N US441 / US301 S you find Indian Motorcycle of Ocala

·         At 1735 N Pine Ave / US301 S in Ocala is the 100 Proof Saloon

·         A left turn at State Road 40 / Silver Springs Blvd will take you to Silver Springs State Park, a tourist attraction which features glass bottom boat tours open 8am to sunset

·         Continuing south on S Pine Ave / US301 / US441 / US27, at Belleview US301 exits to the right

·         US301 turns left at Commercial St in Coleman and passes through Sumterville

·         In Bushnell US301 curves right then takes a left turn at N Main St

·         In Dade City US98 joins US301 S

·         At 12710 US301 in Dade City Bubbaque’s BBQ serves up Southern BBQ and beer

·         When US98 splits off left, continue south on US301

·         If you prefer Tex-Mex there is a Chili’s Bar and Grill at 7643 Gall Blvd / US301 in Zephyrhills

·         When you reach Tampa take the ramp for SR600 / US92W / E Hillsborough

·         Follow E Hillsborough to your destination at 4215 W Hillsborough, the Hooters restaurant
